With Halloween Havoc fast approaching, WWE NXT had some work to do to continue building important storylines for the October 22nd show.
Pretty Deadly remain the NXT Tag Team Champions, but a new challenger is on the horizon. The Diad, flanked by Edris Enophe and Malik Blade, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, and Joe Gacy, battle it out for the top spot.
Bron Breaker demands the show open to silence Javier Bernal in his one-on-one, while Alba Fire plans to fight Jaycee Jayne to defeat the first member of Toxic Attraction. Did.
With fierce rivalries fast approaching, the show promised NXT fans everything.
Bronn Breaker vs. Javier Bernal
JD McDonagh whispered into Javier Bernal's ear on his way to the ring before leaving a comment.
Neither plan worked, however, as Bron Breaker didn't sweat before getting Big Body Javy transplanted at the Military Press Powerslam. The Breakers dominated the match and won comfortably, while McDonagh remained in the minds of his Halloween Havoc opponents.
Bigger things have to be done for McDonagh and Ilya Dragunov to emerge as legitimate threats to usurp the NXT Championship, but at this point there's nothing more needed to sell the match. There is none.

Vic Joseph introduced a new commentary partner, Booker T.
Dragunov arrived after the match. McDonagh's headbutting The Tsar then sent him to Breaker.
Later that night, Dragunov was ready to leave, but Grayson Waller frowned, and the Tsar later motivated him to challenge him to a match.
Ladder Match Qualifier: Nathan Fraser vs. Axiom
For the final act of the best of three series, Axiom and Nathan Frazer played Ticket to Ride.
They exchanged superkicks, but the superheroes brought their rivals to their knees in the face.Axiom wanted a finisher, but Frazer stacked it and scored his 3 in surprise.
It's hard to say which of the three matches was the best, but Axiom and Frazer never failed together. It was a wild and energetic end to one of the best NXT has booked in months.
The aim is to share the talents of two big stars so that brands can get more out of this kind of easy booking. Pair two stars for friendly competition and see how high they can fly. He's taken himself to a new level and I wouldn't be surprised if he capitalized on that by winning the North American NXT Championship.
Axiom wins the Best of 3 Series and qualifies for the NXT North American Championship Ladder Match.

Notable Moment
Axiom barely made it back into the ring before rocketing him down into his kick. He then reversed a series of submissions to his holds when Fraser dunked on him.
Frazer counterattacked the sleeper, although he caught Axiom with his Super Plex.
Indy Hartwell vs. Valentina Feroz
Valentina Feroz was on fire in this fast-paced match but was unable to beat an experienced opponent. Indi Hartwell takes the win with her superplex lifting her second rope.
It was a decent sprint and Hartwell gave her opponent plenty of room to show what she was capable of. It was too short and didn't work out, but at least it looks like Ferros can compete alone while Julisa Leon is injured. Sangha saw it and, after being persuaded by Veer Mahaan to walk away, interrupted Hartwell's celebration just for Pretty Deadly to talk about their upcoming match.

A Moment To Remember
Before the match, Sangha promised to be in Ferros' corner and Hartwell warned Ferros that he owned the NXT ring.
Mahan whispered to Sangha during the game to persuade him to leave
#1 Contender:
Briggs and Jensen vs. Enofe and Blade vs. The Dyad
Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen had some impressive new attacks in this match that targeted them . When Malik Blade and Edris Enophe got going, Joe Gacy came on. Cameron Grimes knocked him out, allowing Blade to steal the three count.
The feud between Grimes and The Schism played a key role in helping Blade and Enofé achieve the biggest win of their young careers. They now have a chance to show what they can do in Halloween Havoc vs. Pretty Deadly.
The game was fun. Especially thanks to the wild energy Briggs and Jensen brought in despite not contributing to the decider.
These three teams have shown why they deserve long-term positions in this tag team division as well as those of Raw and SmackDown.

Blade and Enophe def. Dyad, Briggs and Jensen via pinfall are the new #1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Notable Moments
Pretty Deadly watched them from the stage in gear to look like Americans watching the NFL.
Briggs put clotheslines on everyone and let Jensen fly some highs over the top rope before a somersault plancha.
In the closing stages, all six men were in the ring until Blade and Enophe took over the ring. Blade jumped on Dyad while Enophe jumped on Briggs and Jensen outside. At the
parking lot, Dyad warned Grimes that he had made a mistake and to atone for his sins he challenged his match to a 3-1 handicap. Grimes told Mackenzie Mitchell that he would get help from two non-NXT men.
Alba Fire vs. Jacy Jayne (w/ Gigi Dolin)
Gigi Dolin tried to hold on to Jacy Jayne in this match, but Alba Fyre still fended off the latter with a Gory Bomb.
Sonya Her Devil appeared in her crowd and attacked Fire, and Toxic her attraction helped the announcer bombard her from her table.
I wish a match like this had a little more story time, but it was solid nonetheless. Jayne looked like one of the better women in NXT before Fyre beat her. This is credit for the amount of money her opponent gave her.
Deville's surprise appearance was a welcome twist in Toxic Attraction's history. Her history with Mandy Rose explains her appearance, but it will be interesting to see how much she contributes to the group moving forward. She needed such a reset.

Notable Moments
In a pre-recorded video, Fyre Toxic Attraction warned that they were serious about taking Rose's throne at any cost.
Fyre knocked out Dolin with a suicide jump, but Dolin's distraction nearly made Fyre curl up in a ball.
Deville asked his Fyre to fight next week and promised not to participate in Halloween Havoc
Wes Lee vs. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo
Wes Lee tried to hurt him Channing "Stacks" " I was threatened by Lorenzo.
Lee overcame the pain and placed his stack at the Corkscrew Senton to win.
This was supposed to be a showcase for his Stacks, but he struggled to execute the action. He has talent, but still smooths the boundaries of his attacks as a solo.
Lee needed this win and he won it quickly. He's a talented wrestler, but he still needs something to take him to the next level. He can do it if he wins the NXT North American Championship

Notable Moment
Stuck chased Lee's knee, stumbled as his rival ran, spun him out and flattened him with his neckbreaker.
Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes then attacked Lee, but Oro Mensah parried and helped Lee drive them off.
Backstage, Tony D'Angelo blamed Stax for his injury and told him he had a match next week against a mystery opponent. .
Kiana James vs. Thea Hail (w/ Chase U)
Mr. Stone stopped the match and warned Thea Hail not to embarrass him. He blasted into the press for trouble, but the distraction prompted Kiana James to quickly 401K it away. She scored a win against NXT's youngest star, but Hale was protected by the distraction of setting up a possible rematch. 's presence will remain a parody at best and a ridicule at worst. She wins sometimes, but she's not a serious competitor in NXT either.

Prior to the game, James explained the business his plans to purchase Chase U for the valuable land beneath the facility.
Von Wagner questioned Stone backstage, telling him to focus on the ladder match.

Ilya Dragunov vs. Grayson Waller
Grayson Waller was distracted by his Halloween havok his wheel that started spinning on its own. This allowed Ilja Dragunov to take over the running back's uppercut and win.
Bronn Breaker then stabbed Dragunov as her smiling J.D.
McDonagh watched the crowd.
Unsurprisingly, Dragunov propelled Waller to one of the best performances of his career.
This continued to push Waller as a serious contender and put Dragunov in danger of being NXT Champion. It was a good way to show as a tough opponent.
Overall it was a very good deal. It's nothing spectacular, but it certainly helped build the main event of Halloween Havoc.

In recorded video, the Apollo crew warned Waller about the upcoming match.
Waller struck Dragunov in the eye and landed a diving elbow on him.
Waller ran into the ring for a cutter but German he dove into a pair of suplexes
