Induced Draft Cooling Tower (IDCT) :

Ensure the 1 No. Cooling Tower Riser motorized operated valve (MOV) should be in open
condition.
➢ Ensure the Induced Draft Cooling Tower (IDCT) Fan oil level is normal.
➢ Ensure the field line up clearance and start permissive of the fan and then go for the fan
starting process.

➢ Ensure the Induced Draft Cooling Tower (IDCT) Fan Vibrations.
➢ Following are override trip conditions.
• Gas Booster Compressor (GBC): 2 x 50%
➢ Ensure Plant Battery limit Fuel Gas Battery limit valve is in open condition.
➢ Ensure Gas Conditioning Skid 1 (GCS-1) inlet and outlet manual isolation valves should be
in open condition.
➢ Ensure the Emergency Shut Down valve (ESD) should be in open condition.
➢ Ensure the New Filter Separator Skid inlet and outlet manual isolation valves are in open
condition.
➢ Ensure 1 No. New Filter Separator Vessel should be in line.
➢ Ensure the Natural Gas Temperature at Gas Conditioning Skid 1 (GCS-1) inlet area.
➢ Ensure the Natural Gas pressure at GBC inlet. (9.0 – 9.7 barg)
➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) Process lines draining / venting to be
conducted before the startup.
➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) casing draining to be conducted before the
startup.
➢ Ensure the Nitrogen Generator 1 and 2 should be in running condition.
➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) Secondary Sealing line (N2) inlet manual
isolation valve should be in open condition.
➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) Secondary Sealing line (N2) Filter outlet manual
isolation valve should be in open condition.
➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) Primary Seal Gas line inlet 2 Nos. manual
isolation valve should be in open condition.
➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) Stage 4 outlet line to Primary seal gas line
manual isolation valve should be in open condition.
➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) Primary Seal Gas line 1 No. filter to be taken in
line and outlet manual isolation valve should be in open condition.
➢ Ensure the Natural Gas purging to be done in Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) for 4-5 times.
➢ Ensure the Emergency Push Button should be in release condition.
➢ Ensure the Auxiliary Oil Pump (AOP) and Mist Oil Fan should in running condition and Lube
Oil Heater should be in Auto condition.

➢ Ensure the Process Page everything is in green / Normal condition.

➢ Ensure the Sealing Page Pressure should be in green / Normal condition.

➢ Ensure the Machine Page Vibrations and Temperature should be in green / Normal condition

➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) PLC Trip page permissive to be available to
startup as per below picture.

➢ Ensure Clearance from field and give start command for 1 No. Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) from PLC.
➢ Ensure to give “Pressurized Header” command for opening of GBC discharge motorized operated valve (MOV) once blinking will come.
➢ Ensure the Gas Booster Compressor (GBC) Vibrations, main motor Current, Temperatures,
pressures, and differential pressures.
➢ Ensure the Buffer Vessel inlet and outlet manual isolation valve should be in open
condition
➢ Ensure the Filter Separator Skid 2 (Gas Conditioning Skid 2) inlet and outlet manual
isolation valve in open condition
➢ Ensure to take 1 No. Filter Separator Vessel in line.
➢ Ensure GT Fuel Gas Flow Meter inlet and outlet manual isolation valve should be in open
condition.
➢ Ensure Gas Turbine Fuel Gas Flow Meter Bypass line manual isolation valve should be in closed
condition.
Bypass Stack – Hydraulic Pumps: 2 x 100%
➢ Ensure Hydraulic skid pumps oil level should be more than 75% in field and accumulators
are in charged condition.
➢ Ensure Hydraulic skid pumps manual isolation should be in open condition and lined up as
per the scheme.
➢ Ensure Hydraulic skid pumps, Cooler pump and Cooler fan, Emergency Push Button (EPB)
is in release condition.
➢ Ensure the Bypass stack system in remote from local panel.
➢ Ensure field clearance and give start command and check oil pressure and temperature.
➢ Put both the pumps in Auto and ensure the main / standby selection.
• Bypass Stack – Diverter Damper Seal Air Fans: 2 x 100%
➢ Ensure the both seal air damper in close condition.
➢ Ensure the fan discharge manual isolation valve in open condition.
➢ Ensure the field clearance and give start command from Distributed Control System.
➢ Put Seal air dampers in Auto condition.
➢ Put both the fans in Auto and ensure the main / standby selection.
